Welcome to our group at the Centre of Electrochemical and Surface Technology:

We are working on the design and synthesis of novel functional materials for:

  • Converting waste substrates into value added products

  • Improving energy storage systems

  • Power to X concepts

Our research combines aspects of electrochemistry, catalysis and advanced surface analytics to understand the molecular surface mechanisms in catalytic reactions or energy storage systems.

This enables the transition towards sustainable industrial processes and the improvement of

energy storage systems.
